Brian is a proffesional entertainer and in 2009 he is celebrating 35 years in show business. Brian started as a young boy singing in church as a boy soprano and in school eisteddfods until his voice broke and then the star was born - Mr Brian Carefree.

Brian was a compare at the Pontygwindy Inn, Caerphilly and at the age of 15 was introducing some of Wales top acts at the time.

In his teens, in the early 70's, Brian was the front man of a very popular band called Cierre, performing in working mans clubs throughout the south Wales valleys.   Brian gained a lot of experience from this time.

Talking of experiance, Brian then went on to front one of Wales top comedy shows bands, Sweet Experiance.  Brian performed with this band for about 16 years traveling across the country being booked back at many venues several times.  This band was renown for being brilliant entertainers.  This was a very enjoyable time and full of fun and laughter.  When the rest of the band retired this was Brian's time to go solo performing as Brian Carefree.

Brian then did a summer season at the Manor Suite in Porthcawl followed by a succesfull season in the Welsh Bar Salou Spain, he has also worked in Turkey, Benidorm and Teneriff.  Brian has also performed in Chicargo US, where he recorded an album in the world famous Willow Tree recording studio with Jay Jay Brook who had previously been the drummer in Sweet Experiance.
